Advertising with Absolvitor: Scots Law Online is an affordable and easy way to advertise to lawyers in Scotland and others who have an interest in Scots law, including potential clients. By choosing to place an advert on Absolvitor, you are aligning yourself with one of the premier legal websites in Scotland. In 2007, Absolvitor had over 75,000 unique visits (Source: 1&1 WebStatistics) - that's more than 6,000 unique visits every month! And remember, these statistics are not measuring "hits" or page impressions, but actual visitors to the website: 6,000 or more potential customers or clients every month. (A visitor is counted only when bringing up more than one page and taking no longer than 30 minutes between individual pages.)
Different Types of Advertisement
I aim to be flexible in the treatment of advertisements on the website. There is no prescribed format or style, and you should feel free to contact me to discuss your requirements. However, here are a few suggestions to start you thinking.
Enhanced Displays
For law firms or other companies who wish to stand out from the crowd within a list of links on the website, an enhanced display is the order of the day. Ordinarily, a link on Absolvitor would look like this:

I want a display like this
An enhanced display is currently available at the rate of £2.50 per display per month (minimum agreement length 12 months). Links are ordinarily displayed on Absolvitor webpages in alphabetical order. However, if you want to move your enhanced display to the head of the queue, where it will be displayed at the top of the list, this service is also available at a total cost of £7.50 per month. If more than one advertiser opts to do this, the displays will be listed on a strictly "first come, first served" basis.

Banner Adverts
There is space set aside for advertising in the right hand column on most of the site's webpages. This can accommodate the following standard banner advert sizes.
Banner Ads:
- 120 x 60 pixels (£12.50 per month)
- 120 x 90 pixels (£18 per month)
- 125 x 125 pixels (£25 per month)
- 120 x 240 pixels (£50 per month)
- 180 x 150 pixels (£50 per month)
Skyscraper Ads:
- 120 x 600 pixels (£125 per month)
- 160 x 600 pixels (£150 per month)

In the event of multiple advertisers on the same page, the larger advert will be displayed at the top of the column. If adverts are the same size, again the "first come, first served" rule will apply.
